At the foot of Mount Parnassos, lies the Pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi, which was the most famous Oracle of ancient Greece. Delphi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the second-most important archaeological site in Greece, after the Acropolis in Athens.

Delphi: Considered the centre of the world in the Greek culture, Delphi is best represented by the famous stone monument, known as the Omphalos of Delphi.
Day 1: ATHENS – DELPHI (190 km– 2.5 hrs)
Early pick up from the hotel in Athens. Drive through the fertile plain of Boeotia, crossing the towns of Thebes, Levadia and Arachova to Delphi. Visit the Sanctuary of Apollo, situated in breath taking scenery on the slopes of Mount Parnassus and the museum, which contains masterpieces of ancient Greek sculpture including the famous bronze Charioteer. The afternoon is free. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: DELPHI – ATHENS (190 km– 2.5 hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel. The whole morning is free for you to see more of the rugged grandeur of Delphi and take photographs to remind you of its beauty. After Lunch time (lunch free) return to Athens by the same route.
Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Greece. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sun glasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
