The Cocora Valley, in the department of Quindío, is home to the Quindío Wax Palm, Colombia's national tree, within the Los Nevados National Natural Park. It is a major tourist destination, along with Salento. We begin with a welcome cocktail and a tour of the palm forest, where you will admire the biodiversity, including the majestic Wax Palm and the possibility of seeing the Andean Condor. Then, we will explore an ancient indigenous site and participate in a conservation activity, planting palm seedlings with a local guide.
