Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, we will begin with a panoramic tour of Cartagena Bay, known for its beaches and vibrant commercial atmosphere. Then, we will venture into the picturesque neighborhood of Manga, where the mix of republican architecture and modern skyscrapers creates a fascinating contrast. We will continue with a visit to the Castle or Fort of San Felipe de Barajas, built in the 17th century by the Spanish to protect themselves from pirates and, later, from the English. We will end with a short walk through the historic center, exploring its colonial buildings, streets, and squares steeped in history.

Enjoy a day of relaxation, nature, and Caribbean flavor at the exclusive Hotel San Pedro de Majagua, located in the heart of the Corales del Rosario National Natural Park, approximately one hour by boat from Cartagena. This hidden gem, surrounded by crystal clear waters, mangroves, and tranquil beaches, is the ideal place to reconnect with nature and enjoy a sophisticated setting in the middle of the Colombian Caribbean. From La Bodeguita Pier, we will board a shared speedboat bound for the island. During the trip, you can admire the beauty of Cartagena Bay, its colonial forts, and the contrast between the city and the sea. Upon arrival at the Hotel San Pedro de Majagua, visitors are greeted with a non-alcoholic welcome cocktail and a refreshing cold wet towel. During the day, you can freely enjoy the sea and a typical lunch included. Return to Cartagena Bay at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Note: For the boat trip, please arrive at the Bodeguita pier (gate No. 3) at 8:00 a.m. During the boat trip, you may get wet and sometimes encounter large waves. The return time from the islands to the dock depends on authorization from the port authority, but is usually between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. If you would like to visit the San Martín de Pajarales aquarium, the hotel boats have scheduled departure and return times for this visit. This is optional and payment is made directly. The aquarium is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays when Monday is a holiday in Colombia. High season dates: January 2 to 18, 2026, Holy Week March 30 to April 5, 2026, July 15 to August 18, 2026, and December 15 to 31, 2026.
