DAY 1 (TUESDAY) TOKYO

Arrival at Narita or Haneda International Airport.

NARITA (NRT): After immigration and customs clearance, you will be greeted by an English-speaking attendant who will assist you in taking the Airport Limousine Bus (a regular shared service to the hotel) to the hotel. *The attendant will not board the bus with passengers and will not escort them to the hotel. *Depending on the flight arrival time, there will be no direct Airport Limousine Bus to the hotel. In this case, you will take a bus to Tokyo Station, from where you will take a taxi. *In the event that the Airport Limousine Bus is not operating, we will provide an alternative transfer (train + taxi, etc.).

HANEDA (HND): If the arrival airport is Haneda, a surcharge of approximately USD 56 per passenger applies, as a taxi will be used instead of the Airport Limousine Bus. For solo travelers, this surcharge will be USD 112.

After immigration and customs clearance, you will be greeted by an English-speaking attendant. Transfer to the hotel by taxi. *The attendant will not board the taxi with the passengers and will not escort them to the hotel.

Room check-in will take place at check-in time (3:00 PM).

*On Tuesdays, the hotel has an information desk staffed by an English-speaking guide from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The information desk is located in the Sofa Lounge (the area with sofas and chairs near the reception of The Main Tower). Overnight stay.

DAY 2 (WEDNESDAY) TOKYO

Breakfast at the hotel. At 8:20 a.m., meet in the lobby on the ground floor / first floor of The Main Tower. A half-day group tour of Tokyo will be held with an English-speaking guide. We will visit the Meiji Shrine (dedicated to former Emperor Mtsuhito), the Imperial Palace Plaza (you will not enter the palace grounds), Senso-ji Temple, and Nakamise Street, lined with souvenir shops. The tour will conclude in Ginza around 1:00 p.m. The remainder of the afternoon is free. Return to the hotel on your own (the guide will explain how to get back to the hotel).

During your free afternoon in Tokyo, we will organize an optional city tour for those passengers who are unable to explore the city independently. Between July and mid-September, when it is very hot in Japan, private buses (Version 2) will operate. The rest of the year, buses (Version 1) will operate.

OPTIONAL TOKYO TOUR (VERSION 1): Minimum number of participants required for operation: 5 passengers. The optional tour may be canceled in case of rain or when the guide is unavailable. This optional tour is sold at the destination and costs approximately 50 USD per person (JPY 5,000). The following tours will be visited by public transport and on foot: Odaiba (an artificial island with futuristic buildings); the boat ride is NOT included. Shibuya Scramble Crossing; Tokyo Metropolitan Government Tower (viewing point at 202 meters). Return to the hotel around 8:30 PM. Lunch is NOT included.

TOKYO OPTIONAL TOUR (VERSION 2): This tour is sold only at the destination and costs approximately 100 USD per person (JPY 10,000). We will visit by private bus: Odaiba (an artificial island with futuristic buildings); the boat ride is NOT included. Zojo-ji Temple (where you can take photos of the temple and Tokyo Tower). Tokyo Metropolitan Government Tower (viewing point at 202 meters). Return to the hotel around 6:30 p.m. Lunch NOT included. (Optional Tokyo tour itinerary sold at destination is subject to change).

DAY 3 (THURSDAY) TOKYO – HAKONE – TOKYO

Breakfast at the hotel. At 7:50 a.m., meeting in the lobby. Departure for a full-day group excursion to Hakone with an English-speaking guide. We will visit Lake Ashi (boat ride), Owakudani Valley (on clear days, Mt. Fuji can be admired from both Lake Ashi and Owakudani Valley). Hakone Open-Air Museum.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event the boat is unable to operate due to heavy rain and wind, we will visit Hakone Sekishoato (a reconstruction of a medieval road checkpoint) as an alternative. *Depending on the density of volcanic gas, we may not be able to visit Owakudani Valley, or we may not be able to visit the valley due to terrible traffic jams. In such cases, we will visit Hakone-Jinja Shrine. Around 5:00 – 6:00 PM after the visit, return to the hotel. Lunch at a restaurant is included that day. Overnight stay.

DAY 4 (FRIDAY) TOKYO – KYOTO – NARA – KYOTO.

Breakfast at the hotel. *One suitcase per person will be transported separately by bus from the hotel in Tokyo to the hotel in Kyoto.

At 8:15 a.m., meet in the lobby and transfer to Tokyo Station with an English-speaking assistant. Departure from Tokyo to Kyoto on the Nozomi Shinkansen train #215 at around 9:21 a.m., arriving at Kyoto Station at around 11:32 a.m., where a English-speaking guide will greet you. (Train schedule is subject to change.) Start of the group excursion to Nara, where we will visit Todai-Ji Temple (a colossal Buddha statue) and Nara Park (with its many deer). In Kyoto, we will visit Gion (the geisha district). Arrival at the hotel in Kyoto around 6:30 – 7:00 p.m., and check-in. Lunch is NOT included (we will have free time for lunch).

NOTE: The order of our Kyoto sightseeing tours may change. It is possible that we will visit one of the sites mentioned in the following day's itinerary that day. In that case, we will visit Gion the following day.

DAY 5 (SATURDAY) KYOTO

Breakfast at the hotel. At 8:20 a.m., we will meet in the lobby and depart for a full-day group tour of Kyoto with an English-speaking guide. We will visit: Sanjusangendo Temple (with a thousand statues of Kannon, the god of mercy), Fushimi Inari Shrine (with thousands of torii gates), Kinkaku-Ji Golden Temple, Tenry-Ji Temple (with a beautiful Japanese garden), and the Sagano Bamboo Grove in Arashiyama. Return to the hotel around 5:30 p.m. Lunch at a restaurant is included that day. Overnight stay.

DAY 6 (SUNDAY) KYOTO.

Breakfast at the hotel. The entire day is free for personal activities.

OPTIONAL TOUR TO HIROSHIMA & MIYAJIMA 500 USD NET PER PERSON: At 7:30 a.m., meet with your English-speaking guide in the hotel lobby and transfer to Kyoto Station. Departure from Kyoto on the Nozomi Shinkansen train at 8:26 a.m. and arrive in Hiroshima around 10:01 a.m., where the tour begins. (If there are fewer than 10 passengers, we will operate the tour using public transportation; if there are 10 or more passengers, we will operate the optional tour by private bus.) Here, we will learn about: Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima Island, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum, and the Atomic Bomb Dome. The tour concludes with transfer to Hiroshima Station and departure around 5:57 PM for Kyoto on the Nozomi Shinkansen #52. The tour ends upon arrival at Kyoto Station around 7:37 PM. Transfers from the station to the hotel are at the passengers' own expense, via the hotel shuttle bus or taxi. Lunch is not included. Overnight stay.

DAY 7 (MONDAY) KYOTO – DEPARTURE FROM JAPAN (KANSAI OR ITAMI).

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet and greet with an MK Skygate Shuttle driver in the lobby and transfer to Kansai Airport (KIX) or Itami Airport (ITM).

SPANISH SUPPORT IS NOT AVAILABLE. *The vehicle may visit some hotels and not go directly to the airport. *Only one suitcase per person is allowed, and if you bring more than one suitcase per person, the driver will charge approximately USD 10 (JPY 1,000) per additional suitcase at your destination. In addition to one suitcase, each passenger may bring up to two small pieces of luggage, such as backpacks, at no extra charge, as long as the sum of the three sides of each piece does not exceed 100 cm.

Pickup time will be communicated to the hotel reception the afternoon of the day before (around 5:00 PM). Please speak to a receptionist to verify the pick-up time. *The room must be vacated before check-out time (11:00 AM). Arrival at the airport and check-in at your airline counter at your own expense.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When the MK Skygate Shuttle is not full or is not operating, transfers will be made by Airport Limousine Bus, which departs from the bus stop in front of Kyoto Station, or by Haruka Express Train, which departs from Kyoto Station. In such cases, an English-speaking attendant will escort passengers to the bus stop or to the platform from which they depart for the Haruka Express Train, take the Kyoto Tokyu Hotel shuttle bus, or take a taxi. The attendant will not escort them to the airport. *The MK Skygate Shuttle cannot arrive at Kansai Airport (KIX) or Itami Airport (ITM) before 6:00 a.m., so those who depart before 8:00 a.m. will not be able to take this shuttle bus. Passengers will travel to the airport by pre-booked taxi, and a surcharge of approximately 15,000 JPY per passenger will apply. (If traveling alone, the surcharge will be 30,000 JPY.) Approximately USD 300.

RATE: This rate applies to payment in US dollars on the day of payment, according to the invoice submitted.

*The program and itinerary rates have been calculated based on the exchange rate between the Japanese yen and the US dollar. Therefore, rates may vary at any time due to the behavior of different currencies. These price variations will be notified to the traveler or travel agency in writing or by any other means, as these differences must be borne by the traveler.

In Japan, hotels have a limited number of double rooms (with one double bed). As a general rule, we use twin rooms (with two separate beds). Double rooms are not guaranteed.

*A triple room consists of two regular beds + one smaller extra bed.

*Children under 3 years of age can participate free of charge. However, we do not offer beds in hotels, meals, or seats on trains and buses. They will have to share a bed with their parent(s) and will have to sit on their parent's lap if there are no free seats.

VISITS AND EXCURSIONS

• The suggested visits or tours, whose prices are described in the program, will be offered by our operator at the destination, purchased locally or directly there. However, if the passenger decides to participate in any of these activities, they should not be booked with a different operator, as the schedules established in the circuits may vary. The guide has complete autonomy to modify the order of the scheduled visits for logistical, operational, or weather reasons, always respecting the contracted services.
